The Ting Tings adalah duo rock Inggris oleh Jules De martino (drums, gitar, vocal, piano… Wah bisssa maen banyak banget yaaa??? Hehehe) dan Katie White (vocal, gitar, bass drum… Wah,,,semua multi talenta… jadi iri,,,hehehe) dari Leigh, greater Manchester. Mereka pertama muncul pada Desember 2007 waktu main di Islington Mill, Artist Studio di Salford. Single perdananya “great DJ” menjadi soundtrack trailer film peraih Oscar :Slumdog Millionaire” dan film “The House Bunny”. Emang menurutQuwh juja lagu ne oke…banget… bisa bikn semangadh yang dengerin,,, hehehe…
Ga cumandh itu,,, Single joss nya “That’s not my name” juga merajai UK Singles Chart pada 18 May 2009. Nah kLo album perdananya “We Stated Nothing” rilis pada 19 may 2008 & langsung jadi no 1 di UK Chart.

Katie White
Katherine Rebecca white lahir tahun 1983 di Lowton dan tumbuh besar di sana ama ayahnya David White, ibunya Lynne dan saudaranya Helena. White belajar di Lowton High school di dekat Warrington yang memiliki bagian pagelaran seni besar. Ketika usia 12 tahun, kakeknya kejatuhan durian runtuh!!! Bayangkan, dia memenangkan The National Lottery sebesar 6.6 million poundsterling! Wow!!! Kalkulator ajaa jebol kLo nge kurs in ke rupiah… hehehe Trus Ia membagi uang itu pada 3 anaknya, masing2 1 million poundsterling. (hehe… pengen…) Nah, David menggunakannya untuk membelikan Katie dan Helena kuda poni dan membangun perusahaan manajemen music.

Tahun 1988 White mulai karir musiknya di grup punk cewek TKO (total knock out) dgn 2 temannya dari Lowton school, Joanna Leeton dan Emma Lally. TKO ini dimanajemen langsung oleh perusahaan manajemen ayahnya. Mereka lumayan sukses looo. Tko pernah tampil di ITV's CD:UK. Pada Maret 2001, David mengajak Jules DE martino untuk menulis 4 lagu untuk TKO dan akhirnya mereka jadi kLop.

Jules De Martino
Dipanggil Jules ini penulis lagu Inggris. Ia lahir di Albert place, London Timur dan tumbuh diKirkby Stephen, kota pasar kecil di cumbria (halah…halah… buka peta duLu… ga nyambung neh…Hehehe), Bagian barat laut Inggris (bagian Westmorland).
Gimana kualitasnya??? Jangan tanyaa… Ia mulai main drum sejak umur 13 tahun. Ketika 17 tahun, de Martino jadi drummer & penulis lagu band “Babakoto” dan pernah mengeluarkan single pada akhir 1987 “Just to get By” yang masuk chart sampai 7 minggu pada 1988. Setelah babkoto pecah, De martino menjadi penyanyi band indie lainnya, “Mojo pin”. Mojo pin mengeluarkan 2 single “You” pada tahun 1955 dan “My Imagination” pada 1966.

Ternyata,,, selain lagunyaa yang sipp banget… The Ting Tings juga punya segudang prestasi looo… Liat aja,,, meski masih band baru,,, penghargaannya dah buanyaak banget…. Nech…
